Everything in the game that could be percieved as a negative by any player at any time is the fault of Goonswarm and the influence we obviously must have on CCP (did you hear 2 former members work for CCP now???????????????????????). Our influence is so strong that we managed to convince some Icelandic fellows to create a non-consentual PVP game 9 years ago. Just to make sure we didn't get found out, we waited 3 years to even truly ~reveal ourselves~ in game, but unfortunately, the intrepid AFK mining Hulk crowd has found us out. |

Large alliances seem to exert their will on the entire population but the goons will fade into memory at some point as every other bully alliance has. I would like to see alliance size limited, more alliances would form then and battle it out.
Great idea, instead of fighting Goonswarm Federation, you could be fighting Goonswarm1, Goonswarm2, and Goonswarm3!
Fun fact: The corporation GoonWaffe was originally created when population sizes on corporations was far smaller, and the original GoonFleet was full to capacity. Funny how that didn't change anything at all, did it? |

Bunnie Hop wrote:I think you are mistaken about alliance. If goonswarm for example were forced to split it would find its loyalties diverge. Its just human nature as demonstrated many times in experiments (blue vs red arm band exp. comes to mind). When the corp you mentioned was full it still was able to make an alliance corp, so its not the same.
Ahh I get it, we'd stop working together ~just because~. |

But it's not a complete break, not a real one, anyway. It'd be like saying because one fleet is full it'd never be able to fully co-operate with the second one that formed immediately afterwards because it's ~different~. The only thing that'd truly be different is the ticker name. |

Bunnie Hop wrote:There are many examples of what happens when a group breaks, either voluntarily or forced, which reinforce my premis. Its just basic sociology.
And yet I literally told you what happened when our group "broke" in the past when mechanics forced it to happen: nothing, aside from nuisances with things like corp hangars etc. This time will be different though, I'm sure! |

Bunnie Hop wrote:A corp being forced to split while still being in the same alliance is not the same. We disagree, time for both of us to move onto something else.
There was no alliance at the time, just the corp. The split was the exact same thing that would happen now. Of course though, let's stop talking about Real Things That Happened since they keep making you wrong though. |

Couldve been drones that would have been out, or one volley of missiles. Still weird as hell though (and also not API verified) |
